rtk supports travel agencies 24/7 with Middle East inquiries: AI hotline "MIA" offers quick orientation
Voice AI agent helps travel agencies with customer queries around the clock in the current crisis situation
Burghausen, March 12, 2026. rtk is expanding its service offering for travel agency partners to include an AI-supported hotline in light of the current developments in the Middle East and the numerous customer inquiries associated with them. Together with HoloLogix.AI SE, the travel agency cooperation has developed the Voice AI Agent "MIA", which supports travel agencies with current customer inquiries and offers quick orientation for consultations.

The service draws on current information from tour operator communication as well as publicly available information and assessments of the situation from official bodies, including the German Foreign Office.
The hotline has been available since last week and is available to travel agencies around the clock as an additional source of information in the current situation. This is rtk's response to the current sharp rise in demand for information in sales and supports partner agencies in a phase in which information sometimes changes at very short notice, even outside office hours.
The AI-supported voice agent provides travel agencies with sound initial guidance for advising customers. Questions can simply be asked over the phone. On request, users can then receive a summary of the most important information by email.

It was important to us to offer our partner agencies additional support at short notice. With MIA, we are currently available to our travel agencies around the clock and can quickly provide them with initial guidance if information is needed at short notice," says Thomas Bösl, Managing Director of rtk.

"Of course, it's unusual at first to use voice AI over the phone. At the moment in particular, we are getting a lot of questions from customers about the situation in the Middle East. The new rtk service really helps us to quickly get an initial orientation without having to search for all the information ourselves every time," says Thomas Waclawik, owner of Reisebüro Schöne.
